closing my eyes in flashes of bursting light
the noise drowns out the screams of praise
muffled and destroyed i come
each strum leads me closer to you
no longer afraid
lend me these sunshine rays
spread out upon my day
these distant drum rolls invite your glory in
your power settling deep within
branching out filling each void with love
resting in my kings arms

as the sky to the sun

i see your face carved in mountains of strength
i lay it all down on this bed of wounds
