Iv been in a crazy baking mood.
I had wanted to make a halloween costume but instead
I ended up making these pretty little things!

Ingredients:

  • 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1 1/2 cups white sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). In a bowl, stir together flour, baking soda, and baking powder.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until smooth. Beat in egg and vanilla. Gradually blend in the dry ingredients. (add in food coloring if desired)
  3. Bake 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven, or until golden and cracking. Let stand on cookie sheet two minutes before removing to cool.
Decorate:
I used cream cheese frosting and rainbow sprinkles. You could also fill it with ice cream or peanut butter or choose to sprinkle it with sugar...
