Orange Marmalade...

Alright dear souls,
I was feeling extra house wifey and decided to make:
Orange Marmalade!
Yes I did...
So it wasn't hard but it was time consuming.

Ingredients:
4 large seedless oranges
2 lemons
1 vanilla bean
8cups of water
8 cups of sugar

Directions:
4 large seedless oranges (cut into paper thin slices add into stainless steal pot)
2 lemons paper thins slices (also take out seeds and add to pot)
8 cups of water and then bring to a boil. (stir often)
once boiling add 8 cups of sugar until dissolved.
Add one vanilla bean stick or 3 teaspoons of vanilla extract.
Allow to sit at room temperature overnight.
Next day:
Bring mixture to a boil.
then reduce heat and allow to simmer for 2 hours.
Bring to a boil slowly till it reaches 220 degrees (use candy or meat thermometer)
Marmalade should be done after this. Then it's time to pour into a warmed mason jar!
Refrigerate or freeze!
